Maudie Andrea’s Weblog
Just another WordPress.com weblogWinning Streak? I Think Not.
The Bobcats lost again. No big surprise. The Boston Celtics took down Charlotte 89-84. As much of a disappointment as it was, the game was really close and was a good game down to the buzzer. The Bobcats had the leading scorer for the game. Wallace had 23 points, but it just wasn’t enough for a win. I’m slowly losing hope.
Bobcats Beat the Pacers!!!
Charlotte surprised us again! The Bobcats beat the Pacers 115-108 in an intense game Friday night. The game went into overtime and despite our doubts, the Bobcats came out on top. Indiana did, however, have the leading scorer for the game. Granger had 35 points in the game, but close behind was Bobcats’ Raymond Felton with 31. Let’s hope this gives our boys some momentum and pushes us towards some more wins!!
Happy Day After Thanksgiving!!
I think i gained 64 pounds yesterday! My family and I ate so much food!! As far back as I can remember, we have spent our Thanksgiving with my mom’s side of the family…all 40 some of us! But this year, it was our first Thanksgiving with just our family. It was nice to spend the day with just the 7 of us and to actually stay home for the day. My mom and I made a HUGE lunch, but after that football was obviously the name of the game. I think the biggest and most anticipated game was the Dallas vs. Seattle game. Dallas came on top beating the Seahawks 34-9. The Eagles also played yesterday and beat Arizona 48-20. The third game that I watched wasn’t as exciting to me as the rest, but Tennessee did beat Detroit 47-10. All three of the games were big wins and didn’t really seem to be a big challenge for the teams. However, it was football on Thanksgiving so of course families everywhere were “glued to the tube”.
…And The Winning Streak is Over
The Bobcats played the Toronto Raptors tonight and (surprise surprise) lost. The Raptors won 93-86. It made for an exciting game, but theyre record just seems to be getting worse. Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace still had an impressive 23 points in the game, but unfortunately this doesn’t compare to Toronto’s Chris Bosh who scored 39 points. Our Bobcats record is now 4-10. Not too impressive. Come on boys, it’s past time for some wins!!
THE BOBCATS WON!!!!!!!
Could it be a holiday miracle? Our Charlotte Bobcats finally pulled through with a win! They beat the Philadelphia 76ers 93-84. Our leading scorer for the game was D.J. Augustin with 25 points! I’m proud of our boys! Keep it up!
Panthers Choke Against the Falcons
All of my teams are losing this weekend! I am not a fan of Atlanta’s teams. I can not stand the Braves and the Falcons aren’t much better. I really wanted the Panthers to come out on top in today’s game, but they just couldn’t pull through. The Falcons beat us 45-28. Carolina’s Williams, Delhomme and Muhammad were our 3 touchdowns and the rest of the points were field goals. This is pretty disappointing, especially after my Bobcats lost last night.
Bobcats lose…again.
It was surprisingly a pretty good game. The Charlotte Bobcats took on the Milwaukee Bucks at Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena. The final score was a close 79-74 Milwaukee. The games top scorers were Charlotte’s Gerald Wallace with 18 and Milwaukee’s Ramon Sessions who also had 18. The Bobcats continue to let us fans down with their poor record of 3 wins and 9 losses. Last night’s game was their fourth loss in a row. Bobcats fans, is it time to pick a new team? Or should we stand behind our boys?
Kentucky gets dominated by the Tarheels
How can we forget the upset of the year last season when GWU beat Kentucky? The whole school was so pumped! I was excited to see how Kentucky would stand up against UNC in Tuesday night’s game. Sadly, they got beat pretty bad. The final score was 77-58. The top scorer was Tarheel’s Thompson with 20 points followed by the Wildcat’s Patterson and Meeks who were tied for 19.
Bobcats lose to the Mavericks…BAD!!
I knew Dirk Nowitzki was good, but 32 points? WOW!! The Dallas Mavericks took down our Charlotte Bobcats 100-83. Not such a good start to the new season Cats! Charlotte’s lead scorer was DJ Augustin with 21 followed by Raymond Felton and Shannon Brown both with 11. That doesn’t really compare with Dirk’s 32. Come on guys!!! STEP IT UP!
- Brown
- Augustin
- Felton
Panthers Win Again!
The Carolina Panthers took on the Detroit Lions today at Carolina. The Panthers won 31-22!! Detroit’s Johnson started the game off by running in a touchdown in the first quarter, but it didn’t take the Panthers long to catch up and get ahead. The Panthers’ King caught a touchdown pass and Williams had 2. Were off to a great start this season. Keep it up Panthers!
